We wanted to take a moment to inform you of our latest product, Lax Systems (laxsystems.com). It's an online tool designed for lacrosse coaches to create and distribute team drills and plays. The best part is, it's completely free to use.
In partnership with Solution Sandbox (solutionsandbox.com), we created Lax Systems after noticing a gap in the market for a convenient, lacrosse-specific software tool that would enable coaches to easily learn, create, and share drills and plays with their teams. With its intuitive and fun drill and practice planning capabilities, coaches of all levels can tailor their drills and plans to their team's age group, skill level, and skill sets.
For seasoned coaches, Lax Systems' drill and practice planning features make creating and organizing drills and plans a breeze. You can easily create or copy and paste drills and plans from other sources, tag them by age group, skill level, and skill set, and share them with your team. The dashboard is the ultimate tool for consolidating all your drills and plans in one place, making it easy to access and filter them as needed.
For first-time coaches or those still learning the ropes, Lax Systems' library of drills, plays, and how-to's are categorized in a way that makes it easy to find the right content for your team. You can quickly create a plan that's easy to follow, making you look like a pro.
We want to be transparent and let you know that the library of drills and plays is not yet complete. As this is an early release, you may notice some gaps as you search for drills and plays specific to your team's needs. However, we're working hard to fill those gaps quickly so that you can have access to the best possible library of drills and plays.
In addition to its drill and practice planning capabilities, Lax Systems' play-by-play whiteboard is a useful feature for mapping out plays and strategies. We know coaches have their preferred whiteboards so, if you prefer to continue using your current whiteboard you can easily take a screenshot of your play/plan, and add it to your Lax Systems dashboard.
As an unexpected bonus, we've found that Lax Systems has also become a great search tool for players looking to improve their skills. The platform serves as a hyper-lacrosse-specific YouTube where players can search for material that's appropriate for their level of play and learn.
